A Chester man was arrested Wednesday following an early-morning search warrant at a residence in town that police say uncovered three handguns and several large capacity magazines.
Town of Chester police say they executed a warrant at 234 Heritage Lane, in the Windridge private community, during an investigation into threatening social media posts where a firearm was pictured.
They say Joseph Cueva-Scarpelli, 23, of Chester, was arrested and charged with four counts of criminal possession of a weapon, three of which are felonies.
Scarpelli was arraigned in Middletown and is being held in Orange County Jail on $75,000 cash bail.
