New images show heavy flames after a tractor‑trailer caught fire this morning on I‑84 in Brewster in Putnam County.
Fire officials said the flames broke out in the trailer portion of the truck.
The driver was able to quickly disconnect the cab from the trailer to keep the fire from spreading.
Firefighters then moved in and quickly put out the blaze.
Officials said no one was hurt.
