An employee at the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) in Westchester is accused of planting cameras in a restroom and locker room at the club, according to the New Rochelle Police Department. The club is in Pelham, which is located on the border between Westchester and the Bronx.

Ryan Mack, 33, fled the state after the cameras at 31 Shore Road were discovered on July 5. He was arrested in Kansas in mid-July.

Mack allegedly positioned the hidden recording devices to capture people as they used the restroom. Police say they identified multiple victims, including children.

Detectives discovered footage on two cameras. The first was planted in the platform tennis hut west restroom and captured video on June 19, July 4 and July 5. The second camera was discovered in the men's tennis locker room and contained footage from June 21, July 2 and July 3.

The Westchester County Police Department Warrant Fugitive Unit brought Mack back to New Rochelle on Wednesday where he was charged and arraigned in city court the following day.

He is charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, which is a felony charge.
