An acclaimed Italian restaurant, known for its homey environment, has now opened its first location in Westport.

New-York based Felice replicates the atmosphere of modern Tuscan neighborhoods – paying homage to the region's rich culinary heritage.

Owners say staff pride themselves on their "built for regulars" attitude.

"We all know in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut there are many Italian restaurants to choose from. But as I keep saying to all of our guests, 'there's a lot of us to go around,'” said Jordan Navarro, general manager. “The thing that makes Felice unique is our warm, Tuscan, Italian hospitality. You should consider this an extension of your home. This is our home and we are welcoming you in. We want to swoop you up, embrace you and nourish you with our beautiful menu."

The restaurant has a special wine program highlighting small, independent producers.
