An American Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport on Wednesday evening.
Flight 1461 took off from Charlotte, North Carolina just before 7 p.m. and landed in Newark just after 9 p.m.
The Federal Aviation Administration says that the flight had a blown nose-gear tire. A spokesperson for the FAA added that Boeing 737 aircraft have two nose-gear tires.
No injuries were reported.
The incident comes just several days after a deadly crash at LaGuardia Airport, where two pilots were killed when an Air Canada jet collided with a firetruck on the runway.
