Patient rooms were turned into ballrooms at Blythedale Children's Hospital for its annual Lovebug Ball.

The event was held for infants and toddlers receiving intensive medical care.

Each baby was dressed in a custom onesie before heading to a mini dance party.

Staff said events like this are more than a celebration and are part of the therapeutic process for both families and children.
