A head varsity coach in Minisink is now under investigation by the district after allegations of inappropriate behavior.
Minisink Valley administrators say the accusations involve the high school’s head varsity softball coach.
They say he was immediately removed from team practices and games earlier this month at the start of the probe.
District officials aren’t saying what the allegations are – citing legal limitations.
“This matter is being taken seriously, and we are actively, thoughtfully and judiciously addressing this,” the district said in an email to parents.
So far, it does not appear to be a criminal matter as state police say they are not involved in the investigation.
