Reports from overseas say a person of interest has been detained in Jordan in connection with the death of Jamey Carney.
Authorities identified the individual as 28-year-old Ahmad Al-Saqar.
Carney was found dead in her home in Ireland last week.
The 43-year-old Yonkers native had been living in Ireland for several years with her teenage daughter.
Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding her death or the detention.
