5h agoTwo people have been charged after they entered an unlocked Mount Vernon Police Department vehicle, according to police.
Jadiz N. Foster, 24, of Mount Vernon, and a 15-year-old boy were seen in a video posted to social media inside the police vehicle.
Neither individual had permission to enter the vehicle, police said.
Both were arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, a misdemeanor under New York State law.
Foster was also charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.
They were issued desk appearance tickets.
No damage was done to the vehicle and nothing was taken.
