Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu went on the offensive Tuesday against New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Netanyahu's made the comments after Mamdani called him a "war criminal" on Monday and previously said the prime minister should be arrested for alleged war crimes.

"Shame on you, Mr. Mamdani," Netanyahu said. "I am coming to the U.N. I am going to tell the truth about our heroic soldiers and I am going to tell the truth about you."

Netanyahu is not facing any war crime charges despite the allegations.

Netanyahu is scheduled to speak Thursday at the United Nations.
