Warmer, windy weather for Tuesday, with elevated risk for wildfires to spread

Pollen levels remain extremely high as the week starts.

Temperatures warmed up, and tomorrow will be more of the same.
High temperatures tomorrow will range from the lower 70s along the Sound Shore to near 80 degrees inland.
Winds will kick in for the afternoon, with gusts up 20-30 mph.
Dry, gusty winds with low humidity and dry brush means an elevated risk for fires to spread. Exercise caution outdoors with potential ignition sources like machinery, cigarettes and matches.
Tree pollen levels continue to climb. Maple and oak pollen are severe levels, with birch at a moderate level. With dry gusty winds tomorrow. Pollen will be blowing around. Seasonal allergy sufferers may want to stay indoors with the air conditioning.
Temperatures this week will be on the warmer side. There may be a couple "cooler" days, with highs in the 60s. Very little rain with a better chance of showers and even a few thunderstorms starting Friday.
The weekend may also feature some rain, but also sunny weather too.
