Two men charged in Poughkeepsie home burglary

Christopher Cortez, 46, and Eric Espinosa, 36, were arrested shortly after the incident, according to city police.

Two men are facing felony charges after a home was burglarized in Poughkeepsie on Tuesday morning.
Christopher Cortez, 46, and Eric Espinosa, 36, were arrested shortly after the incident, according to city police.
Officers responded to a home on Pershing Avenue just before noon. The suspects had already left the scene when police arrived.
They were found a short time later on the 700 block of Main Street and taken into custody.
Both men were charged with burglary and grand larceny. They are being held pending arraignment.
Police said all stolen property was recovered.
