A fire sent heavy smoke pouring from a Yonkers pizzeria Thursday night.
The fire was reported around 7:20 p.m. at the business on Warburton Avenue. Firefighters arrived within three minutes and found people outside and heavy smoke coming from the pizzeria.
Because of the size of the building, numerous units searched for occupants and checked for the fire spreading.
The main body of the fire was contained to the pizzeria, with minimal spread of smoke and flames. The scene was declared under control just over an hour later.
No one was hurt, and no relocations were needed.
The Westchester County Health Department is expected to inspect the business Friday. Fire officials say the cause appears to be accidental at this time.
