Showers will be stubborn to pull away, but eventually the rain will subside through this afternoon. Clouds will be a mainstay, but there could be a few hints of the sun trying to bust through that cloudy curtain. Daytime highs will be about 10 degrees cooler than average for today, in the low 70s.

The humidity will still be felt throughout the day despite it being less muggy than yesterday. The middle of the week is the pick of the week weather-wise. You get sun, you get a pleasant warmth. Heat, humidity, and more unsettled thunderstorms could be in the mix for the remainder of the week.
