A body was found on Park Avenue in Spring Valley early Saturday morning, according to police.

Residents told News 12 that the discovery was made at 5 a.m.

The Ramapo Police Department and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office spent much of the day at the scene where the body was found under a truck in a parking lot.

Authorities had not released any information about the identity of the person or the circumstances surrounding their death as of Saturday evening.
