Dog strangled and dismembered in Westchester, Connecticut man pleads guilty

Officials say Tyler then dismembered the animal and discarded its remains around New Rochelle.

A man has pleaded guilty to a disturbing act of animal abuse in Westchester County.
Benjamin Tyler of Connecticut admitted to strangling a dog named Bruno in December, according to the Westchester District Attorney's Office.
Officials say Tyler then dismembered the animal and discarded its remains around New Rochelle.
He is expected to be sentenced to one year in jail.
