3h agoA man has been convicted of manslaughter in a fatal shooting on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
Jan Deere was found guilty by a jury at his second trial. The first trial ended without a verdict.
He was accused of shooting Jaquan Fryar in the head last year. Fryar later died at the hospital.
Deere is scheduled to be sentenced in August.
