After a long search, the East Ramapo School District will soon have a permanent superintendent.
The school board is expected to announce the appointment during Tuesday night’s meeting, according to a revised agenda released Monday afternoon.
News 12 has learned that the State Education Department and the School Board have approved the appointment.
The board hired Southern Westchester BOCES to conduct the search.
The district has been without a permanent superintendent since 2024.
The board recently appointed the district’s third interim superintendent.
