A Queens man has been arrested after being accused of trying to scam an elderly Tarrytown woman out of $50,000.

Police say 43-year-old Benny Cai convinced the woman that Apple had accidentally deposited money into her account and demanded the money back in cash.

The woman gave Cai over $29,000 on Wednesday. However, when she brought another $21,000 on Thursday, police were waiting and arrested Cai.
