A Hudson Valley state trooper has pleaded guilty in a Dutchess County drug case.
A U.S. Attorney says 43-year-old Michael O’Flaherty admitted that he tipped off a confidential informant and drug dealer about a federal fentanyl probe.
Prosecutors add that O’Flaherty then made false statements to the feds to cover his tracks.
The Poughkeepsie man is set to be sentenced July 21.
He faces a maximum of up to five years in prison.
