Some of the district's air conditioning systems have reached capacity, making it necessary to adjust the schedule.
Park, Brookside, Claremont and Roosevelt schools dismissed at 11:40 a.m., while AMD and Ossining High School dismissed at 10:39 a.m.
All Regents exams at the high school were expected to proceed as planned.
