A caretaker at an Ulster County facility is accused of abusing a disabled patient.
State police say 36-year-old Kimberly Kaiser hit a nonverbal and physically disabled man in her care at Ulster County Arc.
The incident was reported anonymously in May and led to an investigation by state police and the New York State Justice Center.
Kaiser is charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent person.
News 12 reached out to Ulster County Arc for comment but has not heard back.
