A farm brewery is drawing visitors with a mix of craft drinks and outdoor recreation in Warwick.
Fence Road Farm Brewery combines brewing with a disc golf course, offering a unique experience in Orange County.
Owner Dan Boyle says the brewery goes beyond traditional offerings.
“We are not a typical brewery. Most breweries, they're just brewing beer. Like I said, besides beer, we've got alcoholic seltzers, we got Warwick lemonade, we've got mead,” Boyle said.
The brewery also features farm-to-table food, including wood-fired pizzas, with some ingredients grown on-site.
Mead, a honey-based drink, is also offered, which is not common at most breweries.
Visitors can take part in disc golf on the property, with staff saying beginners can learn the basics quickly.
“In 20 minutes, you can know how to throw and how to play. Anyone,” Boyle said.
The concept blends entertainment and agriculture, something Boyle calls “fungriculture.”
The property also includes event space for weddings, parties, concerts and game nights. “That space is really a space that's really bringing people together,” Boyle said.
