Voters in the Tuxedo school district have rejected a proposed $15 million budget for the second time.

The plan included a 1.6% tax increase. A public board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. to address the outcome.

In Mahopac, voters approved a $145 million school budget that includes a 0% tax levy.

More than 1,400 residents voted in favor of the plan, while about 600 opposed it.
