A woman was hospitalized after being pulled from a burning home during a fire Monday morning in Hillcrest.

Fire officials said the woman was taken to Westchester Medical Center after crews responded to the home on Williams Avenue.

Her condition and identity have not been released.

A firefighter also suffered minor burns to his shoulder and is expected to make a full recovery, officials said.

Fire crews from Hillcrest, Monsey, New City and Spring Valley responded to the scene shortly after 10 a.m.

The Rockland County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
